Who else deserves some credit and recognition? Grab a beer and a bite then head down town to the “Boo Bar” in time for sunset. Then make our way down to “Wrecked At The Reef” and put our feet in the sand. Our first stop being Banditos when we roll in and get a “Jack-colada” or 3. We would drive down to Puerto Penasco Mexico. If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to? Getting to this point wasn’t easy, but we are tenacious. As far as what’s next, we started work on a new album when the pandemic hit, and we are also working on a movie. We have one more single coming out called “HOME” from our album “Sunshine” February 5th. We are constantly writing and playing, and we haven’t killed each other yet. For the most part, we are together all the time. I believe what sets us apart from a lot of other bands is that we eat, sleep and dream it. Their first single, Bella Donna, was released June 1st, and is currently being played across multiple radio stations across the U.S. They recently finished recording with producer Johnny Johnny K Karkazis (Plain White T’s, Pop Evil, Disturbed, 3 Doors Down). Combining a bluesy hard rock approach with a bit of grungy swagger, the Black Moods rose from regional Arizona bar band status to major-label touring act. Being surrounded by that, doesn’t prepare you for how harsh it can be in the world, especially in the music business, but makes it easier to meet people, which I’m very grateful for. 2018 has big things in store for The Black Moods. Growing up where I did, most people have respect for each other and are kind to one another. I grew up in a small town called Wheaton Missouri, with a population of around 700. Born in the Arizona desert and reared on stages across North America, The Black Moods began. A classic power trio for the modern world, they turn the genre’s timeless ingredients electric guitar, anthemic hooks, and percussive punch into a sound that’s both contemporary and climactic.
